Sound Design
I liked the idea of game design as it to me it is many different forms of art coalesce into one singular form of media, I found it fascinating, and I had dabbled in many things by the time I tried my hand at it- Short film making & video editing, photography, 3D Modelling (all from my school years)- and videogames were something I grew up with, playing on the family computer late into the night to later still receive a scolding when my family finds me there in the morning before school.
Logically the next step was to try it myself, and I did, I remember using RPG maker during a free weekend on steam and setting a sound to play on a constant loop whenever I stepped on a circle, it was so loud I had ringing in my ears for hours. I stopped for a while after that, but recently I had the thought that I loved it so much then, why did I ever stop?
So then I studied game design at Staffs Uni, hoping that I'd never stop again.
Composing music in FL studio DAW
Playing DND or writing my own version to play later when it is my turn to DM
Game art and digital art
Game development.... I just really enjoy it okay... (oh what joy it is to tinker on these games to my hearts content)
Modding: I made a crappy mod for Minecraft and hosted a server for myself and friends and... had many sleepless nights fixing the bugs they found... and heavily exploited. I also tried my hand at making a custom map for Pseudoregalia
coincidentally, I also like playing games
Reading (I've been stuck on a Webnovel named Shadow Slave for about a year)
